I had an excellent experience getting my open water certification at International Scuba. The instructors for the course (Mike K and Mike G) were genuinely interested in diving and were committed teaching me how to be self sufficient when setting up my gear, safe while diving, and to maximize my enjoyment underwater.

Just finished up my IDC and IEC through this shop. They have been great to work with from the very beginning when I was asking dozens of questions trying to determine which shop to use all the way till the last signature on the Certification paperwork. I was willing to drive over 3 hours one way to work with this group and it was worth all the extended effort on my part. Kelly, running the retail side, always smiling and eager to help, Mike Kohler, my instructor couldn’t have impressed me more with knowledge of the subject matter or skills in presentation in easy digestible formats. I can honestly say Mike put in the work to make sure I was ready for the IEC. Had the opportunity to work with Richard Thomas, the shop owner, also a great guy that was willing to do whatever was needed on my part to ensure I was receiving everything needed to be prepared. Also worked with other instructors, Jeff Blackwell, and AI Brian Burns what a great team. I’ve already signed up for another class next month. If you’re local, look no further, this shop will take care of you and welcome you into their “dive tribe”, if you’re not local, it’s worth the drive.

Excellent team at IS!! Everyone one is extremely knowledgeable and helpful throughout the whole process. All the instructors take their time and make sure we understood everything. I received my open water, nitrox, and advanced adventure diver cert with them and looking forward to further training!

Very great experience. Detail oriented training. Went scuba diving in Florida week after certification and was able to dive with confidence. Mike is the best instructor!

It had been a few years since my wife and I had been in the water and International Scuba Had a refresher course that met our time table. Brian, the instructor was super and very knowledgeable and made sure everyone was comfortable. We had some problems with our equipment and went back the next day. They were able to fix the problem in no time and he was very through Can't say enough about Kelly and Makala. Both were helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Rich, the owner, was upbeat and friendly as well. I asked about the "Dive Tribe'" and they told me it is not a dive club but a mission statement that anyone who comes into International Scuba is part of their family. To a person, they definitely live their mission statement! If you scuba dive and are looking for the dive shop that is at the next level, Scuba International will not disappoint.

Had a great experience with learning underwater navigation. The instructors are very knowledgeable, fun to talk to, and you can tell they really have a passion for diving and passing their knowledge onto others. Special thanks to Alan Toon for guiding me in my learning and on my dives.

Interbational Scuba is great! Took a dive trip to Litte Cayman with this group. Rich Thomas, the shop owner, took pains to ensure that all members of our party were gathered, questions answered and having fun. When on the island we had a group member who was doing his very first dives. Rich personally spent a great deal of time with this fellow, who at times was feeling uncomfortable -- especially when he turned around to see a reef shark watching him from behind! I very much enjoyed diving with International Scuba and plan on taking another trip with them this summer.
