Our 10 year old son just completed SDI Scuba Certification through International Scuba in Carrollton. Every step of the way, communication was clear, questions were answered in a timely fashion and the instructors were excellent and patient with such a young student. Thank you, Rich, for getting our son so excited during the discover scuba intro session that he signed up immediately to commit to the certification process. If you are looking to refresh your diving skills - or learn the skill! - I recommend this school of scuba. I wanted to brush up on my skills (certified in 1994) and didn't realize how rusty I was until I took a refresher course with Walter Hodges. Safety is #1 and Walter gave my friend and myself an excellent tutorial. I will have such a great time on my next dive! The shop has all you need to get certified or brush up: A training pool on location, dive equipment for rental or purchase and great instructors. Locally owned and operated is huge my book!

If you want excellent training in the DFW area, international scuba is where to go. As someone who had no prior drive experience before, they recommend what equipment to buy and answered all of my questions promptly. Michaela is was more than helpful in answering all and any questions I had throughout the process(many). My instructor Troy was very helpful, calm, and inviting. He was constantly making sure I got the best experience I could while helping me learn. Once I was ready for the open water portion of my training, it was awesome to see how warming everyone was at Scuba Ranch. On my first day of they treated me like I had been there for years and I was their family. Truly couldn’t have asked for any more in a dive shop. If you want to have an amazing experience with training, and a great group of friends and mentors after, international scuba is the place to go.

Amazing experience getting certified! I highly recommend going with them. They're very attentive. I had extra difficulty with clearing my ears, and my dive instructor stayed to help and talk me through it for the next time. Super nice people! They also have a pool which makes getting certified even easier. I also really liked how if you buy your gear with them and if during certification you have a problem, they'll refund it or in my case, let me exchange it out for a different mask (paying the difference).

Everything from the instructors and the shop staff down to the equipment selection and everything in between... nothing short of awesome. I can't recommend this place enough. I did my Dive Master course here, and everyone was so helpful, friendly, and really made me feel like part of the community. Also, very cool that they have a pool on-site, and a permanent pavilion at scuba ranch for lake weekends, making courses very convenient and accessible.

I just went through the open water scuba certification. I had some pretty major anxiety to work through on a couple of the days and the instructors, Mike and David, were amazing to help me work through it! When I needed it they were more than happy to help me one on one until I felt comfortable. Would definitely recommend, especially for anyone a little nervous to go diving.
