I just completed my Rescue Diver class with Bill Strum at International Scuba. I live in Frisco so have rented gear several times from the Frisco location, and have joined fun dives with this group before but this was my first class. Bill was the best instructor I have had for any of my classes up to this point and is super knowledgeable and made the class a lot of fun! Class was in the pool at the IS Carrollton location and at the Scuba Ranch in Terrell, and there were lots of other divers out just to dive and hang out with others. This group knows what they are doing and has a great staff. Would highly recommend!

We contacted International Scuba for Instructor Development Training and so that I could complete my PADI Staff Instructor training. The quality of the training we have received has been outstanding! The Course Directors we have worked with are knowledgeable and really care about the scuba industry. I highly recommend any diver wanting to up their dive knowledge and grow in the industry to contact International Scuba.

My husband and I really enjoyed getting certified with Bill Nelson back in late March. We had both been certified many years ago but didn't have a record of it. Both of us agreed that the small class size and condensed time periods (2 weekends) gave us much more confidence in our skills than our previous courses in the past. Bill was very patient and didn't move on until everyone passed each skill. He also gave us some really good buoyancy tips that I don't think most classes cover so thoroughly. We ended up having a great time testing our skills out in the open ocean. Highly recommend! One tip I would note to people considering taking the class is to take into account the cost of the gear as it was quite a bit more than I had initially anticipated (ended up being about the same cost as the class). Gear seems excellent and has performed well, just good to know before going in to set expectations on total cost.

Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks. My wife and I were much older than the other students and we just finished our Open Water Diving Certification! Our instructors Kevin and Renee Swank were patient and went above and beyond to make sure we were proficient at all our skills. When buying our gear, Eric and Nicole were very helpful and took the time to explain the differences in the equipment so we got the right gear the first time. I can't recommend this store highly enough. If you want to learn to dive this is the place to come, even if you have to travel to get here.

The dive shop is professional, friendly, and technically proficient! I was very fortunate to have Troy Smith as an instructor. His expertise and patience were greatly appreciated. It feels like it is their passion and not just a job. I have been diving for many years and highly recommend the International Scuba team!

The customer service at this location was just wonderful. I am a novice when it comes to scuba diving, but the gentleman took the time to help me understand what I would need and the training courses I should take. I have been planning a trip to an area off the coast of Jamaica that has a world war 1 U-boat that sank and the marine biologist gave that as a suggestion of a place that is worth seeing. With his help, I plan to do more than a few dives and hopefully each one will yield something great.

My wife and I recently completed open water + PPB(Peak Performance Buoyancy) training certifications with the International Scuba team over the past couple weeks. Troy and our assistant instructor Andreas did an excellent job training us to have a safe (and fun!) transition from pool drills to certification dives. Once we hit the lake, the drills felt like second nature. We of course have a ton more to learn and refine, but Troy and Andreas have set us up with good habits and skills to succeed. Great people and great instructors, exactly what you're looking for if you're considering entering the world of scuba! Shoutout to the other instructors on-site and dive masters who assisted with the PPB course!

New diver and I’ve had a great experience so far. I find the PADI system and phone app to be very easy to use and take my classes whenever I have spare time on the go. Rachel Ford is an awesome instructor. Store has a huge selection of gear at the right price. I’m very pleased with my choice of PADI and Intl Scuba tribe.
