Think just because you live in Dallas you can only experience dive culture on vacation? Think again. I have had my licence for a long time and seen many dive shops. International Scuba is at the top of the list. Rich, the owner, is awesome and friendly. Really stoked about getting countless more certifications. Open water or advanced licenes are really just the beginning of scuba life.

Just finished my open water certification here and it was great! Not sure where to start. I have soo many great things to say! I was super worried at first but Rich and his wife Tonja are so nice and welcoming! They are very humble. I didn’t even know I was talking to the owner till someone had mentioned it and I put two and two together. Shout out to Joe Pazos my instructor, he’s can be a little rough around the edges but I promise you he means well. He wants you to make sure you understand so you can dive safely! I was worried with the short time we spent together I wasn’t going to be ready but I assure you I felt so much more comfortable in the water than I expected to. All thanks to Joe and his two helpers (Nancy and Martin)!! The other staff members are great, honestly I don’t know who actually works there or who is there to hang out. That place has a great atmosphere and everyone I’ve meant at the shop and bc of the shop has been a wonderful experience. Will totally recommend anyone that wants to learn or shop come here!

I just received my OW and drysuit certification from here. Everyone was super helpful and nice. I was a bit nervous for the class, but the trainers were extremely patient and great at explaining what you needed to do. I will definitely return for future classes.

Learned a lot from the staff and instructors especially Beth who was awesome! Really made the classes fun and enjoyable! Looking forward to get more certifications from them. Highly recommended.

This is the reason you shop local. When it’s a couple of days before a full week of cozumel diving and your dive computer gives the orange screen of death....Richard, Micah and Joe S. figured out a solution while the manufacturer sent a replacement. You guys are great. Thanks for helping make it a great trip. And extra thanks to Joe S. for facilitating the exchange and keeping my equipment running!

I just completed my Open Water certification with International Scuba and I had a great experience. Rich was very helpful in helping me select my gear, Patti and I corresponded via email and she gave me all of the necessary details prior to the first class. I did the academic portion with Elon and he was very good at explaining things and answering any questions I had. I did my confined pool dives with Dennis and he gave great feedback and made sure I felt comfortable with the skills. Micah was helpful with my gear rental and had everything ready for me. So, this weekend I had my dives and the entire crew at the lake were just so much fun. What a great group of people.The instructors were awesome and I made some new friends this weekend too, can’t wait to expand my knowledge and broaden my skills with other specialty courses.

I just finished my Open Water, Enriched Air and PPB certifications at International Scuba. I have nothing but good things to say about the staff. They are all knowledgeable and very helpful. Nice facilities and good equipment. Shout out to Beth M. who was my instructor. She made me feel comfortable every step of the way. I will be returning for additional certifications.

The staff at International Scuba is clearly very passionate and knowledgable about scuba diving, and I can tell they truly care about their clients. Rich and Stormy went out of their way to help my boyfriend and I find the right scuba certification solution for us, even staying after closing time to answer all of our questions and walk us through the process. Making the decision to get scuba certified is an expensive and time-consuming process, but I feel confident that when we're ready to take the plunge, we'll do it with the crew at International Scuba.
