Do yourself a favor and don't go anywhere else... I took the Open Water Diver course at International Scuba and couldn't have been more impressed! Everyone (and I do mean everyone) here was friendly, professional, understanding, and extremely helpful. My instructor Pat Lynch was easily one of the best instructors/teachers I have ever come across. I would absolutely recommend to anyone who needs help with anything scuba related to come here. All of their staff and instructors are extremely knowledgeable and easy to talk to. If I could give them more stars... I would.

SO very happy that my husband and I chose to do our open water certification at International Scuba. Our classroom instructor, Dean, was wonderful and his wife, Laurie, was great too! Our small class size was perfect. When we got out to the lake to do our certification testing, I was a bit overwhelmed. All of the instructors were so kind and understanding. We are headed to Grenada next month to use our new skills in the ocean for the first time and could not be more excited! Thank you, International Scuba!

I went in having very little knowledge of scuba diving but I knew I wanted to try it out. They were extremely friendly and helpful with getting me started in their indoor training pool. My teacher was an amazingly knowledgeable guy who took his time explaining steps for breathing and letting go of the fear of going in the water while breathing through my mouth. Thanks to International Scuba of Carrollton I passed my diving exam with ease when I moved to Hawaii. Thank you!

I had my scuba courses there, and I'd my check out dives with them for my Padi certification. The information was all presented in a wonderfully clear way. And I had a great time with the small class size. Really patient and professional instructors! They were encouraging when I did some panicking moments with the mask flooding exercise. They were really helpful. I felt secure and sure with them. I would totally recommend getting certified here!

Thumbs up to these guys!! I moved here 6 years ago and one of my first missions was to find a dive shop. I went to two others before going to Int'l Scuba so I had something to compare them to and, by far, they are the best. I have participated in both local (educational) and trip (recreational) diving with them and have enjoyed each event. Their certification programs are excellent. They have onsite facilities to accommodate both classroom and pool sessions and you very quickly start to feel like one of the family. Traveling with them for group dive trips is also a lot of fun. Everything is handled very professionally and well organized. Don't get me wrong, it is not always smooth sailing; however, if I have ever encountered an issue they are right on top of resolving it for me. Oh, and did I mention that I completed my Master Scuba through Int'l and am coming up on my third trip with them in November. So to Patti and staff....you are awesome and I love having you as my scuba family :)

This is my scuba shop! There are shops closer to me, but none that treat me this well. Got my certification there, buy equipment there, had equipment serviced there... they do it all. I've even bought some used gear on ebay and they let me drop by during the day for free and jump in their pool to test. If I like the gear they will test and certify it for a small fee. Really friendly folks.

Excellent group of Dive experts. Did my recertification there recently and felt very comfortable to do some Caribbean diving after several years. Good prices on gear too!

My wife and I got our OW, PPB and Nitrox certifications with IS. We have both also purchased a great deal of equipment with them. We did TONS of research - both for "quality of instructors" and "price comparison" and IS can not be beat! Least importantly they have or can quickly obtain the highest grade gear in scuba and they do so at a GREAT price! What a concept! No pressure to buy gear you don't need and they exchange what you buy until you get the right sized item. A+++!!! More importantly their instructors are TOP NOTCH!!! Amazing people, the entire lot of them. Jeanette had to of answered well over 100 questions from my wife and I throughout our training if not more. She's super-nice and an incredible instructor. Chip, Dean, Elan, Brent and the rest are exactly the same. They are also doctors, pilot instructors and ex-military personnel. These people went so far above and beyond for us time and time again that there was no way we could fail. Most shops don't have 1 PADI course instructor and IS has 3!!! Unbelievable!!! My wife was very apprehensive at first but they were there for her every step of the way. They took tons of extra time with her during the open water portion including retrieving her lost weights at the bottom of a 55 degree lake with 5' visibility multiple times. I can not say enough good things about IS - we truly got "there" because of them! We have since begun travelling the world, diving everywhere we go. We would not have made it had it not been for IS. Do what they tell you to do and you can safely and easily obtain the same. THANK YOU SOOO MUCH International Scuba!!!
